Jared Kaliner is the Co-Founder and Principal of RoundSquare Builders and RoundSquare Development, where he oversees project strategy, construction execution, and client representation across high-end residential and mixed-use projects in New York City.​

Prior to founding RoundSquare, Jared spent nearly a decade in commercial real estate technology, working closely with many of the tri-state area’s leading landlords and commercial brokerage firms. In that role, he developed a deep understanding of how data, analytics, and process optimization drive better decision-making, sharper underwriting, and improved project outcomes—an experience that continues to inform RoundSquare’s disciplined, detail-oriented approach today.

Jared later transitioned into construction, working hands-on with general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants throughout the region. This experience gave him a ground-level understanding of how projects are actually built, how costs and schedules are truly managed, and where risks most often arise. The combination of his technology background and real-world construction experience allows Jared to bridge the gap between ownership, design teams, and the field—bringing a modern, transparent, and highly accountable approach to construction management and owner’s representation.

Today, Jared leads RoundSquare’s construction management and owner’s representative services, acting as a trusted advocate for clients from early feasibility through project completion. He is known for his proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex urban projects while protecting client interests.

 

Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time with his family and dog, exploring New York City’s restaurant scene, and staying actively involved in the neighborhoods where RoundSquare builds.
